We adhere to the following terms concerning the bookings and cancellations of accommodation services. These terms are binding for both parties as soon as the guest has paid a deposit.
These terms apply to both our holiday homes, i.e. Vuorenrinteen mökki and Puuharanta. Bookings and payments A booking is confirmed when the guest has paid the deposit agreed on by the due date. The rest of the rent is to be paid six weeks prior to the beginning of the booking. Cancellations If you have to cancel your booking we would appreciate a cancellation at your earliest convenience. The deposit is not refundable if a booking is cancelled. If a booking is cancelled four weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday we refund the rent paid but not the deposit. No refund is paid if a cancellation is made later than four weeks prior to the holiday. If the rent is not paid in full by the due date the booking is considered as cancelled. Rental The holiday houses by the week in the summer months. The guests may arrive at their holiday home at 4 p.m. or later and the houses should be vacated by noon on the last day – unless another arrangement has been agreed on. The guest takes care of the cleaning of the house. Outside the summer season the holiday houses can be rented by the day or weekend or according to the wishes of the guest. Friday to Sunday evening is counted as a weekend. Cleaning The guest hands over the holiday house cleaned. If the house has not been cleaned we will charge extra for the cleaning. You can also book a final cleaning from us. Included in the rent The rent includes the holiday house, a sauna by the lake, a rowing boat, electricity and burning wood for the rental period. The rent does not include bed linen. Bed linen and towels can be rented separately. Number of persons The holiday house rented is to be used by no more persons than the number given when renting the place. This number is not to be exceeded without prior agreement with the owners. Damage compensation The guest agrees to compensate for any damage to the house constructions and movable property directly to the owner of the holiday house. Not permissible There is to be absolutely no smoking inside the holiday houses. Pets are allowed inside the Puuharanta and Vuorenrinteen mökki houses. |
